Cotton Industry News: PCGA hails withdrawal of GST on oil cake

 

Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) has hailed the administration’s choice to waive the five percent general deals charge (GST) on oil cake and two percent GST on oil (Binola oil) and presented a crisp warning No 188(1)/2015 under which Rs 6 every maund assessment would be recoverable on oil seed with impact from July 1, 2014.

Director of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) Haji Hafeez Anwar said that it was an endowment of the legislature to the ginning group. Praising the ginning group on this achievement, the director guaranteed that the present government has acknowledged the principled stance of PCGA and it has issued a crisp SRO after the regard of the Economic Co-appointment Committee. PCGA said thanks to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, Hamza Shahbaz, MNA and Prime Minister’s uncommon associate Saud Majeed and Chairman of Federal Board of Revenue Tariq Bajwa for determining this issue genially.

Bad habit Chairman of PCGA Rao Sadaruddin additionally welcomed the administration for withdrawal of 5 percent GST on Oil cake and 2 percent on the offer of oil. Haji Muhammad Akram Chairman of Ginners Group, Forer Chairmen, Haji Muhammad Ibrahim,Sheikh Muhammad Saeed, Chaudhry Masud A Majid, Mahesh Kumar, Suhail Mehmood Kharal, Mian Mehmood Ahmed, Shehzad Ali Khan welcomed the PCGA director on the accomplishment.
