Internship FAQs

1. How should I respond to the essay questions?

Each of the essay questions should be answered separately. Each response should be no more than 500 words in length. Do not exceed the word limit.

2. How long should my resume be and what should it include?

Your resume should be no longer than 1 page and should include at least your education, work experience, extracurricular activities, and service experiences.

3. Who should write a letter of recommendation on my behalf?

Richko Internship Program cannot recommend who should write a letter of recommendation on your behalf. However, we encourage you to find individuals who can illustrate your qualifications, character, and commitment to public service.

4. Do you have to be a Pakistani citizen to apply?

Yes. In order to be eligible for the Richko Internship Program you must be a Pakistani citizen.

5. Do you have to be in university to apply?

Yes! We encourage Current graduation students.

Applicants must be Pakistani citizens, 18 years of age on or before the first day of the internship, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution)

Graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a college, community college, or university (two-to-four year institution) no more than two years before the first day of the internship

6. Can I mail a hard copy of my application?

No. We cannot accept hard copies of applications. Only applications submitted via our website will be reviewed.

7. Is the Richko Internship a paid position?

Richko Internship is unpaid, however, travel and conveyance will provided to applicants

Timeline For Internship

The application period for the Richko Internship Program is now open. The application deadline for the Summer 2015 program is April 30, 2015.

All application materials, including recommendations, must be submitted on or before the application deadline.
